I think the buyers are going to lose this one. The builders can do what they want. The FB’s bought a house, they don’t want to see smaller/cheaper houses go up in the development. So what? Life’s not fair. I’m a single mom, if I can get in an expensive development with homes double the value of what I’m purchasing, I’m going for it. If there is a picket line, I’ll be the first one to cross it.
One man’s pain is another man’s pleasure.

April 23, 2011 at 4:54 PM #688752AnonymousGuestSingle Mom? Can’t afford that two story nice dream home that someone else worked hard to afford and is now seeing devalued because the contractor is building lower value lower quality property next door? And that’s the home buyers fault? Well here’s a novel idea, how about you work hard like those people, get a good job, buy a house like they did and then get back to me. Until then perhaps you should have considered keeping your legs closed and not popping out kids who obviously caused you not to be able to afford to buy a house in a nice neighborhood without government assistance.

so, who won? I bet it was the builders.
