I’m from WI, I have more people come visit me than all my other friends combined. My coworkers joke about how I’m running a hotel at my place.

They ALL want to live here, but they won’t sacrifice their houses and extra cash to do so. All I have to do is show them the rent and they say “no thanks”. When I show them housing prices, they laugh, my last friend brought a Real Estate magazine home so he could show everyone how crazy it is out here and for a few laughs.

It’s easy to put #1 CA in any poll, but when the rest of the facts are put on paper, hardly anyone is packing for the trip west.

Because it’s no surprise. So the number one answer of 2964 people when asked what state they would want to live in was CA…so what?

If you think San Diego is the only place people want to live in the whole country Duck/CBmtnBkr then why don’t you two team up, by all the foreclosed houses on the market and flip em?

I’m sure you’ll make a killing.

Hey if I had purchased a home in Carlsbad within the last 2 years i would be tearing up the club scene too. (drinking away my sorrows) Has anyone noticed that the run-up in SD RE prices started to heat up after Ryan Leaf was kicked out of SD? That is as absurd as “Everyone wants to live here”!

CBADmtnbkr put your overpriced condo on the market for what u think its worth and see what happens. Please get in touch when you have to go “Short Sale”

As a matter of fact, people are actually leaving SD. They have been for the last 2 years or so…

That was the question. And of course, the big kicker that invalidates the question is except the state you live in now. Remove that clause and I’d guess 90% are going to say, where they are now.

So basically the question is “if you won the $350 million dollar powerball, where do you think you would move?”

A question for people to answer with no ties to reality.
