    let’s not go around assuming this is not owner occupied. I really didn’t want this to turn into a “fraud” thing.

    so let’s just say this is owner occupied and he forgot the property tax was due.

    one key thing is once you miss the due date, whether you pay now or whether you pay in April, you still have to pay the fine.

    so I think waiting for April to see if that installment is paid or not is going to be more telling.

    Weird thing just happened…

    I just tried to use the SDTREASTAX website to look up my rental property tax payment status.

    When I used the property lookup by address (I don;t commit my parcel number to memory) it pops up the incorrect parcel number and the name of someone I do not know.

    When I use the correct parcel number (had to use sdlookup.com to find it) it showed my tax payment status.

    Anyone know how to look up an address via the parcel number ?

    When I used the property lookup by address (I don;t commit my parcel number to memory) it pops up the incorrect parcel number and the name of someone I do not know.

    When I use the correct parcel number (had to use sdlookup.com to find it) it showed my tax payment status.

    Anyone know how to look up an address via the parcel number ?

    go to zillow, if you click on “home info” it’ll have the parcel number for the address you are looking for.

    I did use sdlookup to find my own parcel number.

    However, I want to do the opposite: find the address associated with a given parcel number.

    The reason is that when I type MY address into the SDTREASTAX website it shows the wrong parcel number and wrong owner. I want to find out where THAT property actually is located.
