The cost from attorney A most probably have been because she’s in the business for quite some time and this equates to her professional fee. Ask attorney B with regards to QDOT. Take note of his answer. Ask a 3rd attorney. If all is the same, I think attorney B will be sufficient. Estate planning attorneys have different rates. Same goes with other jobs that ask for professional fees.
