IMO Depending on where you were looking 2009 was the bottom.
After 2009, there continued to be sporadic deals in 2010-2011 etc.., but IMO the big deluge of deals was in 2009.
March 10, 2020 at 11:24 AM #815312FlyerInHiGuestDon’t I get any “moving target” leeway? I will give you that the bottom in San Diego was 2009. But the housing market is not San Diego only.
The topic of the thread is the housing market, not San Diego specific.

You get no leeway. You are a liar and you are wrong. This is a San Diego real estate blog. Just admit you’re wrong and move on

Again, no one cares about “the housing market” as a whole, except for economist and armchair economist. Everyone else only care about the housing market in the area they want to buy.March 10, 2020 at 1:21 PM #815317AnonymousGuest[quote=AN][quote=FlyerInHi]Don’t I get any “moving target” leeway? If you don’t care when the bottom was, then why resurrect an old topic. Look at the context of the thread, and the referenced article from the LA times.

Isnt the reason obvious? You are a plague upon this blog that no none cares for. It was an attempt to get some real estate conversation going and resurrect some old timers.
