sdrealtor, bonfire, SD Realtor, realestate fan… thank you all for your thoughtful comments and questions. You have really helped me identify what I should be focusing on – as sdrealtor summarizes, what are the answers to the questions about life and family, beyond just a focus on timing the market. Those answers are mostly very positive. Besides being a little too homogenous (ever seen the intro to the show Weeds, with all of the white Land Rovers driving down the block at the same time), it is a great community with wonderful amenities that are family focused and some of the best schools in San Diego. As someone who benefitted dramatically from the 01-06 run up in prices (leveraged 20k into a 3000sq ft home, but didn’t use a crazy loan to do it – our payment is not affordable but makeable without stress), it is hard to be objective sometimes. I will continue to follow this site to become more knowledgeable. Thanks again. I am truly appreciative.
