May 8, 2011 at 2:09 PM #693590Nancy_s soothsayerParticipantIt is only 1b/1b. It must be tiny.
I just bought in Tesla town, America’s most beautiful garden of the gods, (guess where that is) a foreclosure — 4b/3.5b, 2,000 sq.ft., built 2005, bought for $235,000 in 2005 then went REO, HOA=$150/mo but pays water and insurance, townhome with ‘artsy’ gas fireplace, for …(drumroll, pls)…$56,600. Paid cash for it.
I have many multiples of $80K remaining, to probably buy in San Diego after Dr. Spock’s special calculation of the Mayan Calendar (coz I’m a soothsayer, ya know), but I would wait a bit. Deals like that will not evaporate soon.
No need to rush.

May 8, 2011 at 2:37 PM #693605bearishgurlParticipantCongrats, Nancy! How about I come visit and we hang out at your new neighbors and one of my favorite wineries, Wente Bros!
I like your (patient) “strategy!”
