Hobie
ParticipantIt’s kinda like playing a penny slot machine. When it hits, it pays lots of coins but the cash value is only several bucks.
If you bought a ton of the forever stamps to freeze you postage expense, assuming you are not a mega mailer, you will save less than a pizza over several years.
That is if you never lose them !

ParticipantI don’t think there is a law forbidding you to resale them, say on cragslist or something.
you could make about 5% the first year alone.July 13, 2010 at 9:05 AM #577415Nor-LA-SD-guy

ParticipantThey’re only good in that sense until Post Office starts mucking up the definition of a “first class” letter. Trust me, at some point they’re going to drop the weight and size threshold on what constitutes First Class mail, crushing the value of Forever Stamps that were bought before the change.
The Post office is the only entity I have ever seen that raises its price in response to a lack of demand, and then wonders why demand drops even further.
