Federal deficit to soar to $407 billion

Talking about leading by example…we’ve almost tripled our deficit in the last fiscal year…..The wolf in charge of the sheep…

“NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) — The budget deficit will jump by $246 billion to $407 billion this year, the Congressional Budget Office estimates in a report released Tuesday.

Last year, the budget deficit was $161 billion. The government’s fiscal year ends Sept. 30.

The agency attributes the jump to “a substantial increase in spending and a halt in the growth of tax revenues.”

Wrong the federal deficit was not $407 billion. This does not include the federal stimulus package which was about 150 billion I think. And of course our wonderful exciting great patriotic war in Iraq. Yipee ride em cowboy all the way to Babylon. I think that’s another $120 billion. This puts us at
