Escrow company got my name wrong

We are in escrow and have just received a package from the escrow company for us to sign. However, they put my name totally wrong. It is a different person’s name.

The package has included CAR Acceptance Instructions, Addition and Amendment to Escrow Instructions, Preliminary Report Approval, Buyer’s Escrow Information Sheet, Preliminary Change of Ownership Report, Statement of Information.

The lady in the escrow company told me to go ahead and sign the package and she will do an amendment to reflect the name change (BTW, she emailed me an amendment form with my name spelled incorrectly in a different way).

Should I insist her to print out the package all over?

I don’t see what the problem is for it to be correct, for them to correct it. We live in a tech world and such documents are no longer hand typed by a ‘steno-pool’. All that they need to do is update the electronic file and reprint.
