trying to lock in a refi.
i was told that if I lower the estimated value of the house below 1 million in the refi app, i stand a better chance of getting the appraisal waived.
any truth to that? any other tricks to getting any appraisal waived? loan requested is approx 30% of likely appraisal.
need to get appraisal waived because kitchen is torn up.
