Maid marion….
s’more musings ( be they bemusing or otherwise)
chivalry…?
She has always and will always have me open the car door for her, she receives flowers, both hand picked and bought, regularly. no, it’d not dead… and by your vague descriptions of what entails a nice date… my bride to be
had at least several while we got to know each other (ante-sex) and sorted out whether we were compatible as for lifestyle and our vision of what constitutes a healthy partnership. My deal about that is that i like to have a nice time w/o watching my wallet all the time. ( I spend too easily.) So when i am “dating” I spend my money and dont look back. Now that we are gonna be hitched, she will become privvy to the outlay involved in living the lifestyle she herself cannot afford. I like to cook, and to be a homebody at LEAST half the time. I think it’ll work out alright. She hasnt been short-shrifted and I dont feel taken advantage of.I don’t hide my wallet or anything else for that matter. (She’s a PI and would find out whatever she wanted about me if she cared to look… its usually easier to just ask since my book is readily opened)
Someone earlier mentioned we are not really terribly evolved, and I agree ( I dont grunt like Tim the tool man and have agreed to let her shave my back… )
ciao for now…

I need to get a life. But I can't afford and refinancing into an alt-a or subprime teaser rate isn't available to me anymore.

December 11, 2007 at 7:46 PM #114631recordsclerkParticipantThank god I was poor when I use to date. The only thing that my date ever found in my pants was love. Never had to worry about gold digging. Seriously love is found in the heart, try going there sometime, it’s a wonderful place. You don’t need reservations, or even your wallet, or social security number, or complications, or how to land a man book, or pre-nub, or pre-qual letter, or pre-nothing, just bring a smile and don’t forget to drag your heart along. If love is an eternal flame, all you need to one spark to start a fire.
