Advise on making offer on short sale

I checked with my agent, she said she will send copy of the check along with the offer and she will hold the check. Is that the usual practice?

I submitted several short-sale offers and only sent my broker a copy of the check. No need to send the original check until you offer is accepted.

Just closing on a short sale and the Bank cut the agents commission to 3%. He’s sick of this 8 month slog. Treat him well. He stands to make little on the sale.
