Well thanks Rustico, I guess I wasn’t looking on the bright side, silly me. I won a beer bet over who would find the first 50% off S. Temecula home, I guess I’m the luckiest guy in the world and all my research has totally paid off. Instead of my $900 mortgage payment I can always enjoy my free beer and rent one of these in the same tract for double what buying would cost me (rough estimate that the tax break washes out taxes and insurance).

I wish you had cheered me up sooner, now how am I going to get this fork out of my eye?

NC Times mentioned recently that in the past year 1 in 9 houses in Murrieta went into foreclosure. (Don’t remember if it includes defaults or not)

January 30, 2008 at 1:24 AM #145063djcParticipantwow. very interesting.
I expected to see VR at that price point but not Wolf Creek, not yet anyways.
Auctions scare me as I don’t know enough about them. Wouldn’t want to end up with a 10k environment inpact study fee.
More to learn…
