He hasn’t made a payment in eight months on his mortgage and the bank hasn’t even managed to get in contact with him, much less file an NOD, or get anywhere near actually foreclosing. Amazing. I first lurked here in late 2004 (around november) I continued to lurk for probably two to three years, occasionally going away for months at a time because I found the site pessimistic with all it’s housing collapse predictions and I was afraid it was coloring my already pessimistic view. But even when I went away my pessimistic view stuck with me, so I kept coming back checking in. Only after a long time of lurking did I bother to post.

Funny when I think back about it, how it was a quack site when I first found it, and now it seems down right mainstream in comparison.
