ParticipantWanna hear something weird? I just got an email from an old home owner about an under water home I posted in my site. I have been getting tons of emails from buyers because they Google the addresses on homes they are interested in and pull up my site but this was the first time an old home owner emailed me. Kind of weird?
“Subject: Temecula House on Forsakencraft.com
Date: Wed, 18 Oct 2006 19:54:56 +0000
My wife and I were the original owners of the house at ********, Temecula CA 92592.
We purchased it in 1998 for a little over $156K.
Looks like we got out of California just in time. When we sold in 2004, the
house was listed for less than a week.”They sold it 10-15-04 435k and it was listed under water at 408k.
PS. All the buyers emailed me with their phone numbers and said to call them immediately. I spoke with most of them for over an hour. They are all still renting btw.

ParticipantI disagree. I think most Americans feel bad about having a lower rate and refi into a higher one so they can sleep at night knowing that they are not screwing the system.
Edit: Can’t wait for the site PS. Hurry it up!
Edit 2: Just bought “America’s Bubble Economy” and into Chapter 2. Beside buying college books years ago I NEVER buy any books. I always read online. Just something about how 95% of economist didn’t see the dot com bust and those itulip.com guys did that makes me wonder more.

ParticipantNo wonder why this guy didnt sell. He didnt range it

ParticipantBe even worse if people would see a 10% delcine and it would also show how much appreciation that has been lost.
I’m sick and not sure if this makes sense sorry.

ParticipantThe area I’m tracking is back to 2004 prices so ur 2 year ago idea on buying is trash. Site was right then and it’s still right.
First it was RE doesnt go down
Then RE will go flat
Now it’s only going to go down a little.Damn RE shrills cant get it straight. As for ur “soft” landing, thats already toast. We are seeing YOY negative counties all over. Only up from here! LOL

ParticipantYup it’s time to buy. The home builders keep stating lower profits but its time to buy up those stocks. Oh yeah and all the 1.5 trillion in arms have reset.
It is almost like the home builders are screaming lower profits to tell people to STOP buying their own shares but people are like, “shut up you will make money later this is a new era”. LOL

ParticipantTucker are you 12? Damn guy chilax!

You nailed it.

ParticipantI like PS post most times but I think she would really love having her own site. Speaking of sites check out the “flip this house” from TLC under water debtor I just put up on my site.

Participantawesome, everyone back in the pool.
Until 30-40% of all buyers from 05 (speculators) join back into the game I’m not worried. After all, this market is soooo bad but the funny thing is that’s all who stopped buying. There is no magical fence buyers are sitting on.
Edit: I love this part, “[rates are] allowing home buyers to save more than $1,500 per year.” shoot I’m saving 10k a month in reductions. No thx.

ParticipantThey try here but bubbleheads run that forum now lol
