rolling on the floor, laughing my ass off!! (ROTFLMAO) Don’t feel too bad for the guy across the street…perhaps he will be in foreclosure soon enough himself 😉
I’ve been saying for awhile now…those signs will soon be changed from “I’m GORGEOUS inside” to “I’m SCREWED inside!!” or even worse “I’m F**KED inside!!”
October 18, 2006 at 3:37 PM #38005JESParticipantGot a flyer today with photos of four local houses featured. Each had a bubble saying ‘in escrow’ or make an offer.’ One of the ‘make an offer’ photos had a very carefully placed white tape covering the original bubble. I didn’t even notice the first time I looked at it. It used to say ‘in escrow’ but now says ‘make an offer.’ She probably thought that 3 in escrow would make for a good flyer – too bad one dropped out.

I would think something like “improved price,” or “new price,” or dog forbid, “price reduced,” would do the same thing.

October 18, 2006 at 5:56 PM #38009waiting hawkParticipantWanna hear something weird? I just got an email from an old home owner about an under water home I posted in my site. I have been getting tons of emails from buyers because they Google the addresses on homes they are interested in and pull up my site but this was the first time an old home owner emailed me. Kind of weird?

My wife and I were the original owners of the house at ********, Temecula CA 92592.
We purchased it in 1998 for a little over $156K.
Looks like we got out of California just in time. When we sold in 2004, the
house was listed for less than a week.”They sold it 10-15-04 435k and it was listed under water at 408k.
PS. All the buyers emailed me with their phone numbers and said to call them immediately. I spoke with most of them for over an hour. They are all still renting btw.
