ParticipantDisclaimer – my husband is a lifelong “Iggles” fan, and a Philly native. I’m a non-sports person, but lived in the Philly metro area for 9 years.
I think it will be interesting to watch. Especially interesting to see how much the Philadelphia fans boo the crap out of him. Philly fans are notoriously rude – even to their own team. (I used to go to Flyers games fairly regularly – I’ve witnessed it.) If a set of fans and player deserve each other – this is it… It won’t be fun for Vick unless he plays phenomenally.

Participant
So I just talked to my landlord. This is spam mail. Unbelieveable….certified mailed!!!!! Our landlord is awesome and I was pretty suprised to have them show up.
Yes – it really is pretty unbelievable that a spam mail would spend the $ for certified mail. I’d check the NOD status. UR offered to help you with that, take him up.

Participant
But why would the investor firms let these go as pocket listings without the whole fan fare of bidding wars to get the best profit?
It makes sense to the investors – it hedges their risk by lining up buyers ready to go in as soon as the house is ready. That will reduce the carrying cost expenses since, theoretically, it will go into escrow to you (or other pre-approved buyers) as soon as it is rehabbed. No marketing time needed.

ParticipantIt’s not the renters fault in the second house. They are (presumeably) paying the rent and the owner is the one not paying the bills.
In both cases the residents of the homes have permission to be in the homes.
Should the bank forclose on both properties. Probably. Is it the renters fault, especially if they’ve been paying their rent. No.
Be angry at the owners and the banks. Don’t accuse renters of being squatters.
