Sorry… the OP mentioned for lease signs. And subsequent posters mentioned unemployment. I didn’t realize we were only talking retail.On the retail front – I see a lot of empty storefronts in UC (near Henry’s) and in Clairemont (on the three retail corners at Balboa and Genesee.)
I don’t think we’re out of the woods.

My understanding is that things that are physically attached are assumed to convey… So kitchen cabinets convey. Shutters that are screwed in, convey. The curtain rod brackets convey. The actual curtains are up for negotiation. Light fixtures (wall or ceiling mounted convey). Lamps do not.

ParticipantA drive west along Mira Mesa Blvd, Pacific Heights, Barnes Canyon… lots of For Lease signs.
Business parks in other areas
– the one off of Greenwich in UC… lots of for lease signs.
– Drive along Murphy Canyon – lots of for lease signs.It’s not a boom economy – except in Encinitas, apparently.
