ParticipantEnorah, interesting theory, I’m not going to debate it because I still haven’t figured out the universe so anything can be true.
I do thing the other posters (Noastra, doofrat, DWCAP, duke, et. al.) are correct, it isn’t what is happening, it is how much you know. I love hearing from people on how they think their particular community has gone to hell in the last ten or twenty years because they know too much now and are bombarded with information. Truth it, for the most part, the crime rates in whatever place you live is probably half of what it was in your perception of the “good old days.”
The media does have one positive side effect, it has served to warn people, people are much more cautious with what they leave out, where their children are and what they do. Technology has eliminated some crimes (how often do you hear about muggings and pick pockets, identity theft has replaced it and is less violent) and cell phones and the proliferation of cheap cameras and cell cameras and DNA has made it harder for crooks to get away with things. The fact that you can go on the internet and see who the sex offenders are and where they live has a tendacy to make people feel less safe, but in reality they are better off for knowing, the blissful days of ignorance are over.

Participantditto what paramount said, having owned most of the aforementioned brands, my Infiniti/Lexus experience cost me less per year out of warranty than my BMW/Mercedes experience did while under warranty. Maintenance wise after warranty the difference wasn’t even close, probably a ten fold difference in maint costs and a negligible difference in performance/luxury.

ParticipantBear, you asked a few months ago about morgan valley. This one is in escrow and was listed at 539k, 4200 sq, 4 car non tandem garage, .28 acres. These were like 800k+ last year. Another already closed in the high 400’s but it was the small one, only 3481 sq ft.)

For those of you unfamiliar with morgan valley, it is not part of morgan hill and in a very quiet little valley south of morgan hill and redhawk. Not sure if they even have an hoa, it has a semi rural feel even though it has sidewalks and is like a tract, a 1/4 is about average or small for the neighborhood. Even though I hate yardwork, as soon as the forst one starts with a “3”, I’m done and I’m packing. However I am not confident that will actually happen, because if it does they will giving away everything else.
This one is overpriced but I believe it is the same plan and has more pictures, since there is an R.V. on the side, I think the Hoa does not exist.
