im kinda with spdrun on this one. except instead of less meat, I’d say we need to immediately ban all meat.
I dunno about that. I each chicken and fish. Very very rarely a hamburger. No pork, lamb, or anything else ever. I’ve been eating like this for almost 25 years now.
svelteParticipant
Are you actually hoping for President Cockwomble to remain in office for another four years, svelte?
No sir if you’ve read my past posts you know I believe he is the worst president in the history of presidents. It’s not even close.
I’m just trying to identify any means by which he could counter the current trend to towards his loss. It’s not too late and folks like Gingrich are identifying potential paths. That in no way means I hope he listens.
svelteParticipantAn interesting read and sounds correct to me.
Does Trump have the ability – and the will – to change course? We’ll see in the next 2-3 months.

svelteParticipantBees are trending. Mead tastings rooms are popping up all over San Diego County. There are at least 3 on the 78 freeway alone.
Mead is basically fermented honey wine.
svelteParticipant
id like trump to die, ill vote romney
I like Romney alot, he always chooses his own path, not the party line. I respect that a lot. And much of what he says I agree with.
I would have voted for him except I liked Obama better. Had it been a Romney vs Hillary contest, I would have voted Romney.

It’s probably no surprise…other countries have just as many flakes as the US. They can’t really point the finger and laugh too much and they know it.
svelteParticipantDid you ever notice we’ll use military force only against countries who don’t have nuclear weapons?
We just pick on the little guys militarily.
No wonder so many countries want nukes.
svelteParticipant
What’s wrong with Warren?
She’s a one trick pony. She certainly hates the banking industry and wall street. But that’s really all she’s got.
I think I turned the corner on her when I found out she had filled out applications stating she was Native American. Surely she knew that was a very minor part of her DNA and filled it out that way anyway.
And if she didn’t know, well that leads me to question her ability to do math considering she had to know who her parents and grandparents were.
svelteParticipantI should have also mentioned I owned a house with a 15 foot high slope in the back yard for 20 years. The back yard was probably 30-35 feet deep and I added a couple of feet of depth by building a 30 in high retaining wall myself and facing it with stacked stone. That was my project for the summer. Info on here is correct – no permit required up to 30 inches.
I had to ensure my back yard design allowed for adequate slope away from the house and away from the hill and eventually got it all sorted out. I first tried a perforated drainage pipe and I can tell you that is not a good choice. Switched it out for large solid pipe and problem solved. Never had another issue nor gave it another thought.
svelteParticipant…wrong thread sorry…

Biden probably was going to pick her…until they found out she is a Scientologist… Hence why I think Biden is delaying the decision another week.
Bass is a Baptist. She was speaking at a scientology church reopening as part of her office.
That is correct.
If the worst they can come up with is that she gave a speech at the opening of a Scientology church, I bet that means she’s pretty squeaky clean.
I think the reason for the delayed announcement is to get all the potential dirty laundry out there and see how the public reacts. That is why Kamala released her former employee from the NDA this week…we’ll see what comes of that.
Personally, to me it looks like both Harris and Bass are probably top contenders.
svelteParticipantKaren Bass is still a strong contender

who will be the last guy to go to the slammer for weed?
Tommy Chong
svelteParticipantI watched this with interest yesterday.
He attended the infamous Tulsa Trump rally and didn’t wear a mask – even though he had several high risk factors such as cancer. He even tweeted “Masks will not be mandatory for the event, which will be attended by President Trump. PEOPLE ARE FED UP!”
Nine days later, he was diagnosed with COVID and was in the hospital by July 1.
So he went in eyes wide open and chose the riskiest path.
On top of that, he sat just a few seats down from Oklahoma Gov Stitt who has now also been diagnosed with COVID, though he seems to be handling it better.
