    $100-150/hr at least. Remember that you’re paying for things that an employee does not pay for.

    Or charge by the project rather than hourly.

    Difference is that a cop can legally do a lot more physical mayhem than (say) a store clerk who snaps and curses someone out. With power comes more responsibility. The girl only got scared, maybe a bit bruised. If he did it to the wrong person or they fell in the wrong way, he could have killed them.

    It’s mitigation, but I’m still glad that he resigned.

    If he snapped and physically took it out on an innocent party, he doesn’t have the temperament to do his job well. It’s better for him and the public that he resigns.

    Did they use a dye to test for leaks? The way they do it is to add a dye that fluoresces under UV light and run over the system with a black light after a few days.

    Looking at the other string and livinincali’s graphs, it seems to be a slow/steady run-up from the 2009 trough.
