No, the writer provides the rope — the forum — for them to hang themselves with. There’s always the Reader or CityBeat for writers who pour it on extra thick.

Don’t worry, as you get older you’ll develop some taste. (ok, settle down, just kidding, crimmy some people are so touchy)Actually, as a wood worker, I have to say that many woods develop more beauty as they age. The grain patterns become more pronounced and the finish takes on a beautify patina.
When I go to mountain resort areas, I always dread the chalet type accommodations where everything is wood with brown carpet. I don’t care how much they costs (some places in the millions) but those places are just uninviting to me.
I don’t see the attraction of log houses in Wyoming and such.
Give me a modern concrete house with bay windows any day.
There are some bad cliche A-Frame resort places out there for sure. Houses that are wood-everything don’t float my boat unless it’s maybe in Big Bear for a few days. But, IMO, it’s hard to beat an attractive, well-designed post and beam look. I get excited when I see them on places on SDLookup, in places like Mission Hills or Hidden Meadows. I lived in a place in Fallbrook with wood beams in each room and I miss it. Each room had a different color scheme, so I had cherry red beams in the entrance, blue beams in my room and dark chocolate beams most everywhere else.
Then again, I like modern styles, too. It’s good to have a broad palette.

ParticipantIf you are within 10 miles of brush, Wawanesa will decline. Just kidding – sort of – but the company is very selective. We’ve had auto with them for years. They rejected us in Fallbrook years ago and they just rejected us for south San Marcos.
