had the same experience………90 days escrow on a short sale w/ the rate locked…..and we were redoning the same paperwork “n” diffrent ways. In fact, we passed the extension days & had to extend the lock (fun).
Both our credits were above 800 + I’ve held the same job for close to 10 yrs.
After about 2 months into the process, the mortgage doc specialist calls me to explain in writing my recent”CREDIT INQUIRES” to our accounts. I had to go back to ask who made these inquires since I don’t know what you’re seeing (I then found out it was the bank itself that made the inquiries to give me the loan……LOL)…..I had to explain that in a letter……

I don’t have the value/multiplier that will make one potential buyer pay an additional mark up just based on schools API scoring, but I know it is valid/reasonable since we ended up purchasing because of the school district strenght (perception at least).

SD TransplantParticipantI lived for about 5 years on top of the Canyon with Black Mountain Rd in the background. I couldn’t wait to move. At night, as the other poster stated, the noise increased exponentially. It wasn’t too hot to use the AC, so I wanted the window open…….I couldn’t deal w/ the noise.
P.S. for our new place, a major road near the house would have been a deal breaker.
