If you cant see evangelical leaders are traitorous scum, youre not paying attention.
That evangelicals overwhelmingly still think trump is excellent, it makes me think, i do not trust evangelicals generally. Call me crazy…
Actually thats unfair to single out the evangies. I think its no longer a stretch to say the entire republican partys congressional leadership are traitorous scum.
People who are still lockstep republicans, who think nothing to see here, lets move on…i dont trust you…as a human.
Im open to being persuaded otherwise, but it appears the facts speak for themselves. It disturbs me to think that im as vitriolic as the qanon crowd, but basically i feel like if one still consumes right wing news media in a mindlessly pro trumpian republican way, such a person is an idiot, unamerican, evil or all three.
Which makes me sad, to have those thoughts about others who probably feel theyre operating in good faith and want to act in what they perceive to be the best interests of the country…
No one thinks theyre evil. And yet, sometimes, someones mistaken. Mayb e its me. I think all of this was pretty foreseeable a long time ago…but trump derangement syndrome was what antitrumpers like me were diagnosed with.
Why isnt trump derangement syndrome used to describe people who are still pro trump?
Somethings definitely not right in the usa. In a way its a shame some congressman didnt get executed. Would make the political thaetre a bit more absurd.

You are a conservative old fart regardless what you think about bitcoin.
scaredyclassicParticipantInteresting. I have a feeling youre right.
Life is short.
Also money seems to decrease in utility with old age.
Smoke them while you got em, spend em before youre too arthritic.
Im on a low cost diet right now, only oatmeal, honey nut butter and scavenged grapefruits.
Its more of a low money diet, v low cal diet.
. You get some exercise finding grapefruits in the street which makes you appreciate the fruit more.
Its a hybrid hunter gatherer diet.you can eat all the grapefruits you can find under my plan. Also all the oatmeal you want.
The financial savings are phenomenal. Im going to keep this up and pump the savings back into the economy at a later date. Watch out economy!!! Youre going get some juice in the spring!!! Its gonna be awesome.
Maybe ill buy some other form of citrus, or an electric car. Who knows? Life is short.
It really irritates the heck out of my wife that we are making so much money and i will only eat found grapefruits frpm the street. Been 3 days. I intend to keep this up until i cant find any more street grapefruits.
Could be a loooooong time. So many orchards near here. The grapefruits just roll into the street!
America!
The more money i make, the more i want to eat the fallen fruit.

scaredyclassicParticipantright. but is it merely a dip, or is it a bubble bursting? only time and perspective can tell.

Also its not 600k, its median county sale price or 300k whichever is greater. 450k in riverside.
Maybe a big cashout refi.

When the stock market is the most talked about thing on my work slack channel, even by people who never owned a share of stock….it’s time to get out… similar to when the airport shuttle driver gives you a lecture of how easy it was to make money flipping san diego real estate back in the 2006-7 timeframe, it was time to get out… lol….

Agreed…and yet…its hard to get out

scaredyclassicParticipant

The biggest piece of advice you can give anyone regarding careers is, “Go into something you are good at.” Don’t recommend being x or y because you are passionate, passion will fade. Don’t recommend being x or y because it is a good stable job, the tedium could well destroy that person’s spirit. But if you are good at something you will be successful at it, and that success will bring you happiness and fulfillment. Always, the answer to this question is “Go into something you are good at.” (Knowing what you’re good at can be a problem though…)
Great advice
I took the johnson oconnor aptitude test while in high school. https://www.jocrf.org/testing/scheduling-cost
it was a full day of testing, in a fancy brownstone in Mahattan, so incrediblyupper class. I’m not exactly sure how I was selected, there were some “scholarships” at my high school. I took the test, excited to get my results. They recommended “lawyer”; I said no way. not for me.
Not only can it be difficult to know what one is good at, even with a sophisticated expensive aptitude testing company, but it can be difficult to see the connection between a particular aptitude and a job. or one may have several aptitudes, some greater than others, and a job may utilize some of them in various quantities. where does that leave one?
Still, I think the advice is spot on–better to honestly evaluate yourself, and try to do something that seems like you’d be good at.
