ParticipantI had an acquaintance who has been into Ron Paul a long time and the guy is way out there.
He definitely appeals to the fringe.
Not saying he can’t appeal to others.
Heck I like vermin supreme and Ron Paul.
No one should worry because the die is cast anyway.

ParticipantRomneys success story is kind of hard to embrace. He’s basically management extreme. He didn’t really build anything right. He just reorganized. Is that a story that inspires? Is it really quslitatively different than doing remodrls on messed up houses?

ParticipantThere’s an ebby Halliday biography written by her lawyer. Just read some reviews. Sounds like she started selling hats very successfully in the depression and got into real estate by chance when a builder had some concrete houses he couldn’t sell.
The book is cheap on amazon.
Doesn’t sound like it’s informative on her success though. Lot of flattery I think.
However she does write 6 handrwritten notes to people every day.
Kind of a Johnnie cochranesque thing. Very personal.
She looks like a babe on the cover. An old babe but a babe.
Successful people Like her work hard but more important know how to get others to work hard for them.

ParticipantI’m not negating hard work and effort. Just saying it’s necessary but not sufficient. Like the good looks.
But there’s something extra I suspect.

ParticipantApparently ebby Halliday was gorgeous and had a gift for making people feel she was really interested in them.
Reminds me if the time I met Johnnie Cochran.
He focussed on me for five minutes like I was the only human in the universe.

ParticipantAll I know is that I cannot think of one person who inspies confidence in me.
Except my oldest kid. He’s so smart and strong and confident. I’m sure he will do great.

ParticipantI don’t know how people inspire confidence.
I bet some of it could be taught.
By sociopaths.

ParticipantI tend to think that great success generally depends on minimum levels of brains and hard work, which may be high but hinges on one ability.
Inspires confidence.
A lot of smart Hardworking people can’t do that.
Lots of sociopaths And bipolarites can.

ParticipantI don’t believe. Plenty of smart people work hard. I remember in Albuquerque in the 90s there was one realtor who was top dog can’t remember her name. Head and shoulders successful above others… What made her the wealthiest, biggest and best? Is it some ability to control people? Or is it just skill and work?

ParticipantDon’t blame me– I voted for vermin.

ParticipantWhat makes some realtors more successful than others?
