Participanthere;s a topic i have strong feelings about!
although jewish, and wearing the yarmulke, I am and have been opposed to circumcision for many years. joined NOCIRC in 94.
Also wrote a paper in law school arguing that male circumcision should be criminalzied and female circumcision should be legalized. was kind of a virtuoso performance in arguing both side of an issue…iMHO…
i am still suffering from my circumcision back in 1963 and am contemplating foreskin restoration surgery. I think the statute of limitations has run on suing the surgeon.
no circ for my 3 boys.

Participantmy kid has a whiteboard in his room to visualize homework upon. beats writing on the walls. i tend to think he might occasioanlly scribble on the wall if we hadn’t bought him a big whiteboard.

ParticipantIf akin agreed to go into a hotel room with a hottie and have sex with her then he implicitly consented to being cuffed to the bed and penetrated with the largest fake penis sold in the USA for 8 straight hours with a gag in his mouth while Michael Moore films played on cable to muffle his piteous sobbing. That would be a non rape on the scale of rapes since he wanted “it”.
Assuming any sex toys are sill made in America … Probably all from Overseas…

Participantwe once drove a while with some spaghetti ina container on our roof. some dude pointed at our car while we were driving, sort of dipped to one knee while he pointed. we were laughing at how he looked, like, what’s with him??!! then we realized we had left spaghetti up there… we still laugh about the way the guy pointed like 20 years later.
i can remember exactly how he looked, point, drop, swivel. he was so smoothe!!!!i pointed out a kids toy on the back of someone’s car a week ago, it was on there nice and snug, the guy looked at me like i was so weird, honking and pointing, then he jumped out and got it.
made me think of the guy dropping to one knee. pointing at the spaghetti.

Happiness index is key, Ben Bernanke says
THIS STORY APPEARED INAugust 07, 2012
WASHINGTON — Ben Bernanke wants to know if you’re happy. The Federal Reserve chairman on Monday said that gauging happiness can be as important for measuring economic progress as determining whether inflation is low or unemployment is high. Economics isn’t just about money and material benefits, he said; it is also about promoting ‘‘the enhancement of well-being.’’
Bernanke and Fed policy makers rely on reports about hiring, consumer spending, and other economic data when making high-stakes decisions about the $15 trillion US economy. The Fed’s dual mandate is to maintain low inflation and full employment.
‘‘We should seek better and more-direct measurements of economic well-being,’’ Bernanke said Monday in a videotaped speech shown to a conference of economists and statisticians in Cambridge, Mass. After all, promoting well-being is ‘‘the ultimate objective of our policy decisions.’’
