Participantsaw the movie BOYHOOD this weekend.
it’s a great movie.
but has one really bad moment in it…this immigrant repair guy who appears to be making good money gets a lecture from the mom about how smart he is and how he should go to community college. they meet up late rin a GROAN moment.
other than that one isolated moment, this is a great movie…although my wife got bored toward the end, i did not…

Participantyeah but what about the laguna beach laughter club? They meet on the beach every weekend to laugh. laughter yoga. also, there are a lot of good bars you could walk to.

Participantmy mom and her childhood pal had a trip to cuba scheduled through an educational group. pal got sick. something bad with her foot; might have needed amputation. pal ignored doctors orders and went anyway. turned out foot didnt need to be amputated. about a year later pal died.

i gotta get off facebook.
a really heavy lawyer i know who moved away posts all the time on facebook about her incredible fitness journey. she was very very large, now shes lean and strong looking. encouraging others to join her on her fitness journey. it’s like finding jesus. so much excitement at first.
just not interested, kind of like hearing about people beating their drug or drinking problems. the story is dull. they figured things out, but its not a good narrative. its dull…bottom line, when people are ready to change, they’ll change. before then, they dont want to change, so just drop it.

Participanti remember in the 70s being a little kid and him being interested in computers and building some sort of very simple plastic calculating type machine he bought from edmund scientific that he showed me one passover. then it seems like a few minues later he went to MIT … it all seems kinda fast…
