Rt.66
ParticipantI was chatting with the guy who owned the perfect Panther Pink Challenger at the Good Guys car show in Del Mar a few weeks back. A real car nut who owns several classics and out of the blue he mentioned that his daily driver is the G8 (Holden) and how much he liked it. He said it was true hidden gem in the US car market.
The G6 is a fine car. I wish more folks would give “our” cars a shot.
Good question about Pontiac service, I’d bet any GM dealership will continue to service them though. I can’t speak from experience because my Buick at 132k miles has never seen the inside of a dealership:) Then again niether has my Dodge at 165k:)

ParticipantIts important to note that they are not bulldozing the entire neighborhoods, just some model homes and unfinished homes. So they are still on the hook for the infrastructure because of the completed and sold houses.
The Gov. is handing out billions to recondition REOs, surely if the houses had much value at all they would negotiate with the city to save this waste.

ParticipantI’m referring to Riverside Co. (where the houses are being bulldozed).
Yes, they are tripping over each other to out bid one another, anything to keep the employees working. Supply and demand works on the way down too.
I don’t know any contractors who “prefer” unemployment.
