Rt.66Participant
This is the dependability ranking:
http://www.jdpower.com/corporate/news/releases/pressrelease.aspx?ID=2009043I prefer this to the “initial quality” ranking because this one is based on quality after the initial purchase excitement has worn off.
Buick is Number 1
Ford is number 13
Mazda is number……….wait for it…….34Problems per 100 vehicles is relativiely close among the top performers with 37 seperating Buick and Ford but it then makes a big jump down around the bottom where Mazda resides with a whopping 68 seperating Ford and Mazda’s ranking.

Rt.66ParticipantAll the banks have to do is ATTEMPT a loan rework and Fannie or Freddie are mandated to buy the non-performing loan at 100% value.
HAMP and those silly Principal Reduction rummors are all chaff designed to distract us from what has been going on all year, namely the $40 billion per month purchase of lame MBSs from banks, by the GSEs.
If you have listened to the realtors subtle statements to lead you to believe the bottom is in….you’ve been had again by society’s most consistant piriahs.
One program designed to transfer the foreclosures and non-performing loans (future foreclosures) TO THE GSEs ended last week, another ends in a few months then the tax payers will own the deadbeat’s homes and the RTC2 or something like it will emerge.

Rt.66ParticipantMaybe you could post this letter with the name XXXed out before the realtor gets too excited.
We have all heard about loan rework outfits fishing for business with creative direct mail presentations. The OP’s example sounds exactly like one of those letters.
I disagreed with the realtor that this was happening a lot, its not and we all know it.
If it was happening in mass occurances we’d all know about it and not thru a friends, friend got a letter and I heard it says blank-blank stories or lame pump monkey tactics.
Geez!
