This is just another idea that wont work. In order to maintain any type of free market, they must be very careful with their level of intervention. Otherwise it becomes socialized and that’s the death of the market. So they can really only make it look like they’re helping.peterb

ParticipantI believe 1993 was the peak of the recession as unemployment got the highest then. Recovery slowly took hold moving forward. 1990 prices did not get to par until 1997.
As for the LA Times article, check Bruce Norris’s web site for his radio show. He’s a long time Riverside County RE investor and he and others in his area think this is far more severe than the early 1990’s. -
