ParticipantEagle, have you moved back? I’m feeling pretty good about the price drops. The billy boxes seem to be down 300k to 500k. Have you seen all the “cloud condos?” There are 8 under construction on one street and four more that were just finished on D.
There are also a couple of Country Club homes where the asking price is down from a high of over 2.2mil to 1.7 – 1.8.

ParticipantI spend a lot of my time at The Market Ticker. I swing through here every now and then to check out Rich’s latest articles.
I actually met Powayseller recently. We had a long, very cordial conversation and I enjoyed meeting her.
Someone posted this quote from Charles Mackay at The Ticker:
“Men go mad in herds but come to their senses one by one.”

Participant4Sbuyer is desperately trying to convince everyone else (and probably himself) that 4S will resist further downward price pressure. Guess what, 4S is going down the drain regardless of how many sprinkler heads each home sports. I lived in a home build in 2002 in Ramona. We had great alarms, great sprinkler systems in the homes, strict clearance requirements for brush and homes still burned down in the Cedar Fire. I remember looking at one burned house where the skeleton of the sprinkler system hung over the ashes.
