ParticipantI am not going after anyone with this post , O.K. but I was looking at it , it’s kind of funny, an entire blog titled “Why Intelligent Women Read Romance Novels”

ParticipantI read about a half dozen running books recently and some history of world war one and two. A little Lemony Snickets book about unpleasant things or something like that , you would like that.
Two health books I liked are “The First 20 Minutes” tries to explain what is actually known and not known about aerobic and anaerobic exercise doses and frequency and their effects on health and aging.
Also “Spent” a six week guide by a Dr. for how to recover from exhaustion and set your body and mind on a balanced energetic path. Lots of strict diet and alcohol and sugars stuff, yoga, massage, etc. Highly recommends to include exercise but not going to extremes of exercise.
I have two self help books that would probably be good for me but can’t get moving on them. “Chimp Paradox” and “Thinking Fast and SLow”

ParticipantNobody answered my question, “are there orgasms in romance novels” I honestly didn’t know. But evidently there are. http://www.loveromancepassion.com/6-ways-to-orgasm-according-to-romance-novels/
That’s suspsect for porn at the least. I know sex happens in books but not consistently through any other genre I know of. Nudity happens too but it happens all the time in porn mags.

ParticipantThanks for that following up with that post, Flyer, I agree it’s interesting.
It certainly comes through to me that reading romance novels at anything like “addictive” levels would be analogous to male porn addiction. From the numbers of sales and comments others have made like ,”secretaries passing piles of them around the office” , that some of that addiction is happening and right before our very eyes.O.K. ,
One can find lots of comparisons of reading at least some types of romance novels to porn.

Participant
You’ve been a fool and so have i
But come I’ll be your wife
And let us try before we die
To make some sense of life
We’re neither pure nor wise nor good
We’ll do the best we know
We’ll build our house and chop our wood
And make our garden grow
And make our garden growI thought the world was sugar cake
For so our master said
But now I’ll teach my hands to bake
Our loaf of daily bread
We’re neither pure nor wise nor good
We’ll do the best we know
We’ll build our house and chop our wood
And make our garden grow
And make our garden growLet dreamers dream what worlds they please
Those edens can’t be found
The sweetest flowers
The fairest trees
Are grown in solid ground
We’re neither pure nor wise nor good
We’ll do the best we know
We’ll build our house and chop our wood
And make our garden grow
And make our garden growleonard bernstein. Candide. bway musical lyrics. makes me cry when i hear it.
Very nice.
“We’re neither pure nor wise nor good” , now your talking. Baggage checking needs to be put in perspective. That’s what Blogstar has been saying.
It’s logical that so many women fit the sincerity of this song even if they have some past…water rises too. When two bodies of water meet they can also rise. Just told my kids things aren’t going to go well if the don’t let go of what each has done to the other before….forgive the woman before you meet, you too are imperfect. If she’s too problematic in the current time move on. But the one that will work is human and there is proof of it behind her , has to be.NotCranky

Jeez what a drama queen!
That’s the conclusion I have come to , that it’s and art anyway, wasn’t sure the art was architecture. Maybe b, will be good marriage after all, with his architectural skills.
Got any good gardening /marriage metaphors?

ParticipantI am INFP from the test today, the read up on it is a dead ringer but it’s the only one I’ve read .
What results represent an unimpassioned piece of wood? That kind is uncomfortable for me. Want to hit them with some electricity or something. Not crazy about really difficult people but the complete stiff is the worst.

ParticipantNo.2 Mary a younger woman have children and a beautiful family.
Not necessarily a problem for some men, and is not necessarily hooker area.
Lot’s of men have done it. How much younger is the question….I do believe you can go as low as is legal depending on what you want to do.Instead of worrying about a label like hooker I would suggest worry about the highest lever of compatibility you could get to go into that scenario. Put compatibility above the woman’s looks if you don’t want it to be too shallow like a hooker/john with kids( that goes for everybody really). Compatibility would seem to bring the woman up to at least her 30’s but there’s nothing wrong with that.
I think many 35 year old women would take a 47 year old man seriously. Maybe not a perfect match, but lets get real , few people have that. Even at 35 her clock is ticking. Make sure you tell her in advance about your plan to ship the kids off to a boarding school.
Are you capable of putting compatibility over all? I have my doubts.

Participant
I think loves requires drama. Someone told me that without drama, there is no love.
Drama is just part of life. A hermit has drama probably very grim. Being homeless under a bridge is pretty dramatic.
Shakespeare was probably the best dramatist ever and most if not all his main characters were rich or well to do.
Everyone in between has drama.
Life is dramatic, being too shy of it might be a curse…maybe it’s perfect for some, I don’t know.

Participant
as you pack, repeat this …
Emily Dickinson (1830–86). Complete Poems. 1924.
Part Three: Love
XXXVII
LOVE is anterior to life,
Posterior to death,
Initial of creation, and
The exponent of breath.or whatever it takes to get through the day
That one is definitely going on the dashboard of my mini-van.Girls are sugar and spice and everything nice!
Boys are snakes and snails and puppy dog tails!Pre-feminist chant designed to oppress men.

Participant

I won;t say this is conclusive but love is about procreation but it belongs to the human race which is a procreative force together . It’s most concentrated when two people want to make babies.
There is a saying in Mexico , “The baby brings the torta under his arm”. That’s the essence of love.
There is potentially love for and from everyone on the tribal basis even if it comes from procreation.
or as we chant on the playground
First comes love
Then come marriage
Then come flyer in the baby carriage! Two is romantic. Three is work.
On that note:
I have some lunches to pack. -
