Trump says something and he’s forgiven.
I repeat it and I’m a misogynist.Just wondering why his supporters disregard what he says. As president he will serve as example to follow.
Trump says something and he can still be president but not necessarily forgiven, remember he only beat Hillary. He only needed to have less unforgivable back story than her. You should chose your manners based on what serves you best.
On the other hand, people do lose perspective , lots of brainwashed liberals defend Bill Clinton’s affair with Monica Lewinsky based on it being consensual. That situation is totally unethical either way and liberals don’t get it despite how simple it is. Not unethical because he was married, obviously he and Hillary tolerate non-exclusivity. It’s grossly unethical because he used his situational position and power to seduce and exploit a 20-21 year old girl in an allegedly professional environment when he should have known better ,or had more moral decency. People think Bill is great despite this, and Trump isn’t. Same people also forgive Hillary for trying to stomp down Bill’s accusers , which is much worse than anything Trump has been proven to have done.
Trump objectifies women, which is pretty natural , as in natural selection, but with his money he can take it to extremes. Most people realize it isn’t cool , but enough felt he was better than Hillary. He officially marries and reproduces with hotties, wow. Nothing compared to Bill, the heartless pervert, who could have been back in the white house.
NotCrankyParticipantBrian will have a major breakthrough. It’s good of Rich to let him be exposed to our greatness. He is going to live 3 times as long as the rest of us. He has plenty of time.

You realize that “all the educated women [you] meet” could very well be zero . . . And I’ll say it again even though Harvey says I’m cruel to you – it’s no surprise you are single. You’re attitudes toward women are worse than any Trump supporter I’ve met. And I mean that.
As Melania would say, don’t feel sorry for me; Im strong.
Yeah, it’s no wonder I’m single. I haven’t made my billions yet. When I do, I’m going to get myself a solid 10.
Leaving aside the supporters. are my attitudes any worse than Trump’s?
Sounds kind of extremist, either a 10 or zero life experience with women? You might as well practice with a 5 and then kick her to the curb as you get richer. Even Trump had Marla Maples.
Contrary to what you believe a 5 is not as bad a fried chicken.

They say that 53% of white women voted trump so I guess they voted with the group they felt more solidarity with.
I was wrong about the women vote.
They voted for their own husbands. females are very loyal creatures that why they are very reluctant to press charges in domestic abuse cases
Sorry but that’s not loyalty , that’s dependency , either monetary or psychological or both. Anyway not really on track but there it is.
Voting for your husband, who is probably a major financial contributor to the household, makes sense if you are hoping the candidate is going to improve his local job prospects and keep him from committing suicide, right or wrong on that hope.
Also it’s more likely if women voted for male gender reasons, they voted for their sons as much as the fathers. Children matter if you have them. I know my brother did a complete 360 when his daughter came out of the closet. One issue voter now, which I think is pretty nuts but i don’t bother him about it.NotCrankyParticipant

It’s a beautiful day today. Don’t stay behind the blog too long. Bump
NotCrankyParticipant
there really is no utility in knowing anything about the news, or voting. theoretically, if i were ignorant of the election results, for years, my actual quality of life would be improved. so why the hell do i want to be “informed”. all that should matter is that which is in my miniscule sphere of control.
My wife says this all the time. She does listen to NPR everyday but that’s it.
She also wonders if most pigg SO’s are not in some kind of support group for being related to pigg bloggers.NotCrankyParticipantMaybe it will be a case of the bigger (mouthed) they are the harder they fall. It’s easy to imagine this not ending well for him, but we will have to wait and see.
I am glad I am not cranky and there is a lot of popcorn.

BumpNotCrankyParticipantI have never filed bankruptcy , is there still a way to profit from one?
NotCrankyParticipantTomorrow or the next day, soonly anyway, Trump will make very high profile announcements of future cabinet members who are black, latino, muslim, and maybe even homosexual, Maybe he will even appoint the woman formerly known as Bruce Jenner to something. He will appoint one of those redneck Bundys from that ranch stand off ordeal. You will see, most inclusive president ever. He loves all of us.
NotCrankyParticipant

I’m a Muslim, a woman and an immigrant. I voted for Trump.
And her reason?
But I am a single mother who can’t afford health insurance under Obamacare. The president’s mortgage-loan modification program, “HOPE NOW,” didn’t help me. Tuesday, I drove into Virginia from my hometown of Morgantown, W.Va., where I see rural America and ordinary Americans, like me, still struggling to make ends meet, after eight years of the Obama administration.
She has no clue how Trump is going to help her pay for healthcare or her mortgage. And neither does Trump.
Did you read beyond the first paragraph? She didn’t have a reason, she had several very well thought out reasons.
NotCrankyParticipantSeems like the anger and general hysteria is largely coming from people who were looking for a Hillary win to validate their sexual orientation and sexism from the shrill and greedy feminists . You can’t run a country on gender issues and sexual identification. You can’t get a bigger affront to female power mare than an old man with a hot model half his age for a wife in the white house. It does look ridiculous, but suck it up ladies. It doesn’t mean we are going back to the stone age. A good female would have won. It just means he gave up trying to find equality in a personal relationship with women and took candy that he could afford instead. Given that men are behind in the battle of the sexes, that’s not really all that dumb.
As bad as he may have been, Trump did not exceed the democrats on race baiting. Democrats are masters of it. The exaggeration of Trump’s alleged racism is in large part responsible for the demonstrations too.
NotCrankyParticipantThe people making a fuss appear to be emotionally weak people acting hysterical , not protestors. Agree that grieving is a big part of it. Most people do that more privately and responsibly.

Sorry, I mean uneducated. Same point, if you want to win, have a hope and change message. It worked the last 3 times.
The hopey changey meme is kinda tired. It was just a way to deride Obama supporters. Obama was the first Black President so the optimism was understandable.
There is always hope and change when voting for the non incumbent party.
Hope is part of faith which believers in God have. Change is the arc of progress, the direction we wish to go in the pursuit of a more perfect union.
It’s mean to say “how that’s hopey changey thing going for you?” to a poor Black guy who doesn’t have many opportunities but hoped that the first black president could make a difference. If anything, Obama was a role model and inspiration to many.
People who say such things deserve to have the same shit thrown back in their faces when they face adversity.
Don’t we all have hope such as that our kids will turn out good?
The people who Obama manipulated with “Hope and Change”, who would understandably be manipulated by it ,deserve some empathy for their plight and desperation. The same sentiments should apply to the struggling members of our society that fell for Trump’s hope a dope game.
