sdrealtor: Was the 1.4M to 995K in the Davidson section of La Costa Valley? Any more details? I live in LCV and have been trying to follow closely what is going on, but missed this one….
Any perspective you can share would be helpful.

mrpappyParticipantI have a 3 and 4 year old. Last June through November I was sick 5+ times – I think related to colds they were bringing home from preschool. Prior to that I was sick every four to five months or 2 or 3 times a year. I work in a very high public contact field. I was talking to my PCP at UCSD and he recommended the Neti Pot. Since then I have used it 3 to 4 times a week and have not been sick one time. My doctor’s theory is that the sinus passages are a launching pad for all sorts of illness. The Neti Pot, when used regularly, keeps these illnesses from taking hold. I am obviously a believer… going from being sick every few months to not having been sick in over a year is worth every penny of the approximately $15 it costs. Some of it is likely pyschosomatic but nonetheless I am convinced it works. Hope that helps.

November 21, 2007 at 12:28 PM in reply to: Hoping to get some candid advice from the knowledgeable group here… #102518mrpappyParticipantsdrealtor, bonfire, SD Realtor, realestate fan… thank you all for your thoughtful comments and questions. You have really helped me identify what I should be focusing on – as sdrealtor summarizes, what are the answers to the questions about life and family, beyond just a focus on timing the market. Those answers are mostly very positive. Besides being a little too homogenous (ever seen the intro to the show Weeds, with all of the white Land Rovers driving down the block at the same time), it is a great community with wonderful amenities that are family focused and some of the best schools in San Diego. As someone who benefitted dramatically from the 01-06 run up in prices (leveraged 20k into a 3000sq ft home, but didn’t use a crazy loan to do it – our payment is not affordable but makeable without stress), it is hard to be objective sometimes. I will continue to follow this site to become more knowledgeable. Thanks again. I am truly appreciative.
