What’s really f’ing stupid is that the customs people can’t even scan the rfid chip that is embedded in the ID. I think it would speed things up if they could.
moneymakerParticipantI think there are like 3 different lanes,-ready- -sentri- and the -regular- line, just makes sure you are not in the regular line.
moneymakerParticipantIf Greece is “forgiven” then maybe Germany will leave the EU because they would be pissed off that Greece “got away with it”. I wouldn’t bet on it but I wouidn’t be surprised too much either.
moneymakerParticipantMaybe invite the mom over for spaghetti dinner and then suggest ways for the kids to get involved with organized sports. I know when I take my dogs for a long walk they pretty much lay around sleeping afterwards. If you have already burned that bridge then try recording them and then play it back much louder on your stereo system at 6 AM or whenever you are not there.

I’ve used their ship to store and like it but several big companies like Home Depot suck as far as differentiating on their websites exactly what they have in the store and what they don’t.
moneymakerParticipantMy 2006 has 170 HP but it is 200 lbs heavier, fun to drive. When I got tires for it the guy was surprised that the car had no spare, yep no extra space for that.
moneymakerParticipant$70 every other week, wife pays for it,unless she is short on cash, then I kick in some. She cleans about 4 hours each time,by the next day it’s dirty again.

Sometimes seems that’s the only way to discover your true worth.

True wireless, only question is do the batteries last as long as they say,4-6 months.moneymakerParticipantYes auto air conditioning can be a do it yourself thing if you know what you are doing, wouldn’t say the same thing about house AC, must know how to braze copper pipe and have all the right equipment, just the recovery pump alone will set you back a bit. Some types of Freon are no longer available but they do have hybrids that don’t work as well. If the leak takes 3 years then I suspect it is on the low side which means the attic where the evaporator is.
moneymakerParticipantNow is the time to find the leak. There are probably different methods. If the system has enough gas in it then they can use the soap test, leak will probably be on the high side. If the leak is on the low side then you can actually suck air into the system when it gets low and then the coil can freeze up or the expansion valve can be blocked with ice. So fix the leak, then put the whole system under vacuum (no loss of vacuum confirms leak is fixed) to make sure there is no water vapor in the lines. Will probably have to change out the filter as well. Get it done right the first time!

$25K with $6.2K of that for labor
$7600 federal tax credit, already used it all
generates on average $300/mo. in electricity if in tier 3 or 4
payback is like 9-10 years
expect yearly bill to be roughly what used to be 1 month[/quote]Ok got the yearly bill last month and it was very low-$33 for a full year of electricity.
June 6, 2015 at 8:04 AM in reply to: OT: auto buffs: topside oil extractor vs traditional drain plug and oil pan #787048moneymakerParticipantAN do you change the oil filter or let the dealer do that? I have always wondered why they put oil filters in the hardest to get to places and in a way that there is no way to remove them without some drips. My diesel (German car) has a skid plate and one of those topside oil filters which is why I use a Topsider, it’s the only way to get most of the oil out of the bottom of the oil filter housing. The whole process takes a little longer than the bottom method but it is cleaner and gets more oil out. Do like spdrun’s oil nipple idea, will probably end up doing it that way to save time, it’s how the mobile oil change mechanics that come to you do it.
moneymakerParticipantCould not really read the letter in the picture but sounds to me like someone in “the circle” is in the window business.
