No, Trump says that is healthy competition between the states. I guess I’ll have to read his book “Art of the Deal” in order to be able to predict his behavior better.
moneymakerParticipantThat is good for them up there. Is there much in the way of manufacturing up there? I know Buck Knives moved to Idaho for that very reason.
moneymakerParticipantAs far as getting rid of regulations I think a lot of that is a red herring at least in most states, CA may be the exception. Many jobs leave here because the workers elsewhere will work for less, partly because it is cheaper to live there than here. Jobs that use a lot of energy like production of steel, gold mining, glass production, solar panels, are probably best left over seas as long as they are made with quality. We need jobs here that are not so dependent on the price of oil.

My Jetta has a sun roof that is known to open all by itself, only after a recall to fix said issue no less.
moneymakerParticipantMaybe we can learn to control our national debt like Russia. Seems to me there are good examples for the US across the world, German work ethic, French culture/wine and dependence on nuclear energy, Chinese on work/herbal medicine/education, Netherlands tolerance towards drugs, Japanese police that don’t shoot first. When the USA has one of the highest prison populations I don’t think that is something we want to brag about. There are things we excel at obviously but other areas not so much.
moneymakerParticipantIt’s a spectacle for sure. Even without a lot of Hollywood stars there it feels like a reality show. The 2 interviews with the public I’ve seen so far reinforce what’s been said about the average Trump supporter being less educated. Jimmy Carter is there! Wow! Carter there at age 92, same age as Bush Sr.
moneymakerParticipantMy shark bite fittings are outside and have not had any problems with them since put in (7 years now I think). It was my first time using them so I was a little hesitant at first too, they were a little pricey but considering the time saved it was probably a wash. I added a whole house sediment filter at the time too.
moneymakerParticipantI put a ball valve in many years ago but used shark bite fittings as I did not want to use torches (oxy acetalene) as that was all I had at the time. had no problems but did have to have the water department replace their valve as it was defective at the street, they put a ball valve in as well after freezing the line with liquid nitrogen, talk about working quickly, they had to finish before the line thawed.
moneymakerParticipantI stand corrected. I was wrong! It appears CA jobs are rising faster than the national average. Having 34% of welfare recipients while having 12% of the population makes no sense either, if I was on welfare I would not be living in one of the most expensive states. I would move to Utah or Texas. I guess a lot of it is from personal experience, I have the job I have now partly because the company I worked for was threatening to move to Tennessee. Don’t know if they ever did, I try not to look back and prefer to look forward instead.
moneymakerParticipantIf Trump is successful don’t you think the next CA election for governor will involve a Republican candidate that says he/she will bring jobs back?
moneymakerParticipantI found a solution to my issue although I’m not willing to make it public for security reasons. As far as tits go I’m not really sure why i have them and male mice don’t, but that’s another story (actually I do know the why? but just thought I’d throw that out there). Will the DOW cross 20k today? Can’t believe it got within .37 points last week and didn’t break through. Just how expensive is gas in TJ? Inquiring minds want to know.
moneymakerParticipantI have cameras so unless power outage is occurring not too concerned. However I made some inquires and found out fire department only keeps codes for multi-dwelling units (i.e. gates) and not residences, also Central monitoring does not have ability to put a code on account that can be given to emergency personnel. So guess i will have to figure something else to do. Not sure if fire department would take the time to call me from a note in the window or not. Probably not.
moneymakerParticipantHere’s another thought. I have a home security system with monitored smoke detector and of course a panic button. Should i register (or is it even possible to) the door lock code with the fire department as they also do the ambulance calls if I were to push the medical or fire panic button. Mainly I’m thinking the scenario would be that we are out of town and a fire starts with the pets inside, every minute would be crucial. Kinda like the Farmers insurance commercial when the dog grabs the pizza off the stove and inadvertently turns on the stove top which then sets fire to the pizza box. Evidently a true story http://creativity-online.com/work/farmers-insurance-we-know-from-experience-agent-film/46977 except it was cake not pizza.
moneymakerParticipantI see the trend but just curious what is the source? Driving around in Ocean Beach and Point Loma, it just seems like there are more than 26 offerings on the market.Right now there are 51 houses listed in 92106 and 92107, if you count condos then add 15 to those numbers.
