the only important questions to answer in life are what to do, who to do it with and where to do it.[/quote]Nice! As a guy I can appreciate that statement. I think women probably think a little differently, just substitute plan for do.
A friend of mine says he not worried about the market until it gets down to 6000, if I were to say that then it surely would. Neeta “get out of bonds as soon as there is sustained inflation”.

ParticipantI think if you are buying a house in todays market you are not competing with first time home buyers but with savvy investors that are not thinking about will my rental increase in value this year or the next. They are thinking long term, they know interest rates will eventually go up and with it rents will also increase with inflation. This is their gold, their hedge against inflation. This of course is just my opinion!

ParticipantFood and used cars are cheap, but I’m not sure how you can speculate on things that lose value with time. O yeah old boats are also cheap, good luck making money off one though. I think you have to look to the future and find what people are going to be willing to pay for, maybe one of those fido DNA companies that supposedly will tell you what kind of mutt you have (though how they can do it for $69 is beyond me). I really wish I could invest my 401k into gold as inflation will destroy any safe money I now have.

ParticipantTake a magnet with you when you go shopping for a grill, if the magnet sticks to it don’t buy it. Anything not stainless will eventually rust.
