ParticipantIt was bad enough paying $500/month for my F150. I just can’t see paying $1000-1500/month for a car payment. These same people probably have iphones with a $100/month phone bill and yet “can’t afford” health insurance.

Participant

I gave up on McAfee a year ago… A *nasty* virus got past McAfee – I was able to kill it with the FREE microsoft security essentials.
Free, works better… yeah, I’m a fan.
Actually, I just use linux for the really important stuff and don’t bother with Symantec or Macfee.
If I have to use a PC, I have a dedicated hard drive specifically for important stuff running an computer that isn’t connected to a network. And if I need to use a PC on the net, I have a separate pc/drive for that, and I don’t run any AV software.
I have unprotected surfing sessions, except if things break, I just reimage the drive….Uh never mind the analogy.
Yep, I run Windoze in a VM on my linux box. I need it for a few pieces of software that I have to use (e.g. quickbooks).

Participant
I think the word marriage should be left t the churches. I think the state should only be empowered to grant civil unions regardless of sexual orientation. That way everybody is equal, and churches can decide who they want to marry or not. If your church doesn’t want to marry gay couples, then find a new one. Otherwise I think this will be an endless fight.
ParticipantListen up Sacramento…I’ve decided that from now on I will vote NO on everything you float as a proposition. You’ve clearly shown that there is no point in voting for anything you put on the ballot because anything that some special interest group disagrees with will just be stricken down anyways.
Yo pot smokers…remember this lesson when your proposition comes up for a vote and don’t get too excited. Even if it passes I’m betting it won’t make it through the appeals process.
Gotta love the land of fruits and nuts…clearly there were lots of both involved in today’s ruling.
