Offtopic: It’s funny because Hell’s Kitchen is one of the shows I watch. I’m constantly amazed at how incompetent these idiots are on this show and supposedly all of the are working chefs (in some capacity).
I worked part-time at a Chart House in high school and college as a line cook. If I burnt or threw away even 1/100th of the food they did in one show I’d get fired on the spot. That’s profit going into the trash.
I couldn’t believe the imbecile the other night who tried to cook off 2 dozen filet mignon before the orders were even up or the idiot who had a mound of over/under done scallops left over midway through dinner.

ParticipantSalary may seem low…but they get a combined 29 days off annually (vacation and holidays) as well as a pension plan and family medical/dental. Those benefits are way more generous than someone starting out in the private sector.

He’s the one who gave state employees the power of collective bargaining in the FIRST PLACE.
IMO, no government worker should ever be allowed to unionize.

Yet you are all for cracking down on employers and increasing workplace raids (based on your repeated assertions that Obama is doing more about the immigration problem than GW). What do you think happens to these employees being employed illegally when their employer is ‘caught’?
