Participantthe republicans may still have a chance if the gop can convince either cruz or rubio to drop out and run on the same ticket. I think rubio-cruz would appeal to more voters than cruz-rubio.

ParticipantHow do you know for sure what you’re buying is legit? The latest great invention coming out of china is “fake” gold (a mixture of gold and other alloy) that’s practically undetectable without melting it down first.

Participantbtw., I think trump is great…for the democrat nominee.

The establishment is so fearful (of losing power) they are now resorting to identying Trump with Nazi’s, kkk and who knows what else.Again, I’m not a Trump supporter but this is ridiculous.
How else should one supposed to interpret Trump’s failure to disavow david duke?
I found trump refreshing initially. But now he just looks like a mad racist.
You interpret based on the bias you have.
I saw the interview and his response seemed reasonable to me – he basically had no idea what Tapper was talking about. How does he know that Tapper is providing reliable/accurate info? He said he knows nothing about white supremacy. Fair enough.
We must have watched two different interviews. This is what I am referring to (right at the beginning of the video):
He knew exactly what tapper was talking about. And to declare that he “knows nothing about david duke” is a blatant lie.

Participant
I was at Costco Carmel Mountain over the weekend. What amazes me is how normal-appearing people will jostle and grab 5 samples without any thought to the person who has been waiting politely for their turn (ie me). Or they reach WAY across the sample tray to get the largest sample, rather than taking the one closest to them. I pretty much just avoid the samples now (and better for my waistline anyway).
+1.
I have been avoiding going to costco at peak feeding hours. There are way too many people that is completely devoid of any common sense or courtesy. I find it quite pathetic that it seems there are people/families who’ll come to costco just for that singular purpose – eating free samples. Oh, then there’s the gas station. I don’t know exactly how much one could save but the long lines and the chaos is not worth it. I thought costco shoppers are generally higher-iq folks.

ParticipantAn essay is not required to apply to a UC school. That said, unless a kid can get accepted solely based on merit (high GPA and SAT scores) it would behoove them to write one. Otherwise, save that $70 application fee and apply at a CSU school.

ParticipantAll 4 communities the OP mentioned are great communities.
The sweet spot in 4S is on the south side. I would say 4S is probably the only community among the 4 mentioned that kids could walk to all the schools Stone Ranch, Oak Valley, Del Norte (and that new school adjacent to DN – if your kid can get in). Youth sport activities is also great in 4S.

ParticipantI find it mind boggling that Republicans, for 8 years, have been lamenting the state of the union with Obama at the helm. Yet, when the opportunity comes to “right the ship”, they pretty much laid an egg wrt to the candidates. It speaks a lot when Trump is the most “votable” from the group.
BTW., is it just me or Ted Cruz has a very annoying voice? I thought I was going to get a seizure a few times listening to his debates/speeches.

Participant
I don’t know why people would revere these judges. To me they are just like priests interpreting religions and manipulating them to get control for power of one flavor over another. Not so much wisdom and justice etc.

ParticipantNothing to think about. Run in the opposite direction as fast as you can. The troubles this guy will bring will claim the rest of what little hair you have left.

ParticipantIt takes a bit of work, but you should be able to get that with refin.
1. go to redfin.com
2. enter the zip code you’re interested in and hit return
3. on the result page, at the top, you’ll see the filter buttonHit the filter button and you’ll see a bunch of filter options. among them are price, square feet for the house, and the lot size. You should be able to manipulate those parameters to get close to what you want.

ParticipantThe combination filters for price & square feet on redfin should do the job.

ParticipantSpeaking of oil. I guess the business of fracking has pretty much gone the way of the do-do?
