I live next to monterey ridge elementary school in 4s. it is literally my backyard. first of all i don’t know what the pick up/drop off traffic is like because i am at work during that time. not a big deal in my opinion because it is a 30 minute evolution. as far as dangerous there are numerous traffic guards around the property and everyone drives slow anyways. bottom line is that school is out on the weekends and after 2:30ish everyday. not a problem. i would have a harder time living next to a middle school or high school due to the age of the kids and their vandalizing potential. the decision has to do with what your concerns are. if you are a stay at home mom or you work from your house then the noise could be an issue. most houses that are 1.1 mil have really good windows to help reduce outside noise. hope this helps.

lifeisgoodParticipantSomething interesting that i have noticed is the asian population has absolutely no problem supporting there parents financialy. Most of the asian families that live around me have, what I call, stay at home parents. I guess it works out since they have live in babysitters for free. I just couldn’t deal without my privacy. I have a feeling that my wife and I will have to take care of her parents at some point. They are not very financialy responsible. They will have to live with us since I will give up my privacy over sucombing to the nursing/ elderly home pricing.

lifeisgoodParticipantYesterday I noticed at least seven model homes going up in the empty lot area at the end of alva road. also they are almost finished with a new park in that area. seems like 4s will have two new builders developing. there are over 100 lots ready for homes in this area. hope this helped
