Its that pesky problem of group think and one-upmanship. Like philosophers abandoning useful argument and the true search for knowledge and replacing it with useless arguments about esoteric aspects of thought not pertaining to the physical world.
People who do not get out of their comfortable city flats do not have any idea of what a rancher in idaho needs to thrive (or not need).
The direction of the country is one of control, the ethic of the tea party is one of freedom. Sadly this goal has been co-opted in some cases by socially conservative fascists…which are kind of like socially liberal fascists only pertaining to different topics.

It was probably better to bring that comment back though.

I eat copious amounts of seafood of every variety every time I’m there. I have detected no difference (post spill) in the taste of the food nor in how it impacts my body’s inner workings. Nor am I aware of anyone in New Orleans who feels otherwise. Nor do I see any effect on tourists – the restaurants are generally packed. And oddly folks aren’t stumbling out onto the streets clutching their stomachs… unless they’re about to hurl as a result of excessive alcohol intake, that is.
Just my first-hand anecdotal observations.
So you are telling me you have had no sign of unusual rectal bleeding? Just making sure…
You have to get caught in the rain for the rectal bleeding thing.
Maybe your name needs to be James and you have to be a lifeguard on the July 4th too…Not just any summer day, but independence day…Got to get some patriotism in there too!
Because when you make stuff up it is better to be specific! and when you say it, use the same tone of voice you would use to say “You left your soiled underwear in my bath house.”
