you guys were talking about a neighborhood…rich’s charts are county wide.
Now have the incomes of those living in that neighborhood of clairemont gone up? That is harder data to find…
Here is the current.

Wow 7.7X annual household income…that’s real affordable!

I’ve never had a problem with them, and in fact have made calls in the middle of nowhere in Baja and even Death Valley. Connection and sound quality has a lot to do with your phone/antenna, not just your network. Research phones before you buy, and get one where the “phone” feature is well-reviewed and not just added as an afterthought to a very small computer. In other words, if it is to be used primarily as a phone, you don’t want an iPhone.
I have read a few reports about how AT&T actually has a really good network, but that the iphone antenna is a POS. So go figure. I think the new version is better, even with all the hoopla though.
I am continually blow away by the quality of pictures and video that come out of my dad’s latest gen iphone.

I admit there have been times in the car when lost or running late that my wife’s phone has come in handy, but only a few times in several years.
^^^^^^^ that used to happen to me at least a few times a week.

I am one of those people that loses and forgets everything! I lost a car once…twice…
My life has gone so much smoother in the last year and a half, it is amazing. I can sympathize with people not wanting to be reached. But that is what turning off the power/turning off the ringer is for.
The absolute best thing is being able to change plans at the drop of a hat…
