ParticipantThe public employee unions financed Brown. Pay back time huh? There is zero chance that the voters go for the tax extension, unless the illegals can vote.
I think it is pretty safe to say that pRI- is a public employee or has relative who is.
”The pension system is a time bomb – I’ve brought this up many times. However the problems with the pension system do not impact the current budget. (It’s just our children that will bear this massive burden.)”
pRI-
“In the governor’s proposed budget, the state payment to CalPERS increases from $3.8 billion to $4.1 billion, CalSTRS from $1.3 billion to $1.4 billion, and retiree health care from $1.4 billion to $1.6 billion”
This does impact the budget and now it is impacting the State even more:http://calpensions.com/%5B/quote%5D

ParticipantCongratulation!! Especially on that 4.25 interest rate. Do you have a lot of work to do?
I am also buying a REO home and the process is taking way too long. Can’t wait to get the keys and work on the house.

ParticipantIf you are an immigrant you would understand. Most immigrants associate White people as ‘American’ and every body else by their color or nationality like (Black, Chinese, Mexican…) no matter how many generations they have been here. I still refer to my boss Japanese eventhough his parents were born here. And yes, I think there is a feeling that White people and good looking people as more trust worthy. I am not saying that is correct or not.

It looks like your Vietnamese friend is racist, in the sense that she associates desirable traits with being “white.” I guess that when the mark is a racist immigrant (of any color), it’s easy for a “white” con to take their money. Or get free housing from them.
ParticipantMy coworker met the guy and she was impressed. He is White, blond hair, blue eyes, tall and good looking. He handed her a credit check that he pulled out earlier. My coworker got lazy and accepted it as good. She is at court again today but she told me that she has a nagging feeling that he might not show up again.
