ParticipantI am starting to see scooters on the stretch of 805 between Mission Valley and North Park. I held my breath the other evening as a scooter struggled up the hill to University Ave, with cars barely swiping by him as they tried to pass.
I am seeing more and more scooters on the 805…..I think they’re nuts.JerseyGrl

Good job on the purchase. I think I will die of old age before I see a price under 450K in my North Park neighborhood. We pay 2000 for our 900 sq ft Burlingame home and the owner paid 640 for it 3 years ago. The house across the street sold for 609 about 4 months ago ( a little bigger with 2 baths) and the new owners just moved in after totally remodeling the interior.
By the way. A local realty office (on Thorn) has a sign in the window “Welcome Back Buyers!”

Sounds like he works at the nearby air force base. It would be insane to commute to Bay or even Sacramento, from Vacaville.

“John Lundin in San Marcos is doing the same. Putting old listings from a year or two back up on Zillow as if they are for sale right now.”
OK, I am a little slow here. How does this work for the realtor? Is it just to draw in buyers? Do the owners of the homes know this is happening?
There are 1000’s of houses for sale. Why do they need to create a phony sale?
