How can a broker even take a listing like that? I’ve got a better chance of hooking up with Jessica Alba tonight than that house does of selling.

ParticipantPrices are not going to 97 levels unless the whole country goes down the crapper. 97 levels were near the bottom of the last bust. Things were just barely starting to appreciate again in 97 after 5 or 6 years of steady declines . If prices tank to 2001/2 levels they should be somewhere in line with rents. That’s where they will probably settle.

ParticipantI doubt he could find a job as a broker right now. I personally know 3 out of work brokers. These guys are all long timers with years of experience and not one of the new young wannabee’s. There’s just no one hiring in that field, most places are still laying off.
