I agree food prices are up and up by quite a bit. One tip if you are around the Encinitas or Oceanside area at all is Smart & Final Plus, where you can buy vegetables at 1/2 the price of Vons, Ralphs etc and IMO nicer stuff.

McCain & Palin were put out there to throw the election. Republicans knew there were no wins in the current economy and were already thinking towards 2012 – Congress, Senate AND of course the presidency!

I personally do not like Obama and think he is the worst possible president right now, but McCain was no good alternative either. Worse, we are going to swing HARD right in 2012 in opposition to Obama’s left wing politics.
