ParticipantI read about this on Wikipedia, and now I think I will be able to determine the future value of houses in San Diego using Remote Viewing!
BTW, whenever I hear about this, reminds me of that scene in “Ghostbusters” with Bill Murray… LOL!
Which is not to suggest that it might not be real. Just that Ghostbusters was pretty funny.

ParticipantOkay, last part made me laugh.
What is that, Adams? Vonnegut?
You know, if you think about it, part of what’s made me so combative last month or so (101st Fighting Keyboarders), are these ridiculous topics you post. A bunch of us are just screaming: “Get it off the Piggs!” There was even a topic trying to get you kicked off. Alas, it was crazy Marion!
Seriously, I don’t think I would have posted the “Obama is Conservative” topic if it hadn’t been for those “Obama is a Illegal Alien”, and “Obama Lied on His Resume”, and “Obama This-n-That” stuff. It’s overboard. Best topic was sdgrrl with that “Obama Kills Babies in the Sudan” post.
After all this settles down, you should post what you think about Bush. There’s going to be lots written about that guy, some of it good, but mostly bad unfortunately. It’ll be an interesting discussion one of these days.
I’ll give Bush this, I think he’s right about the larger issues we face. For example, I think Al Qaeda is a very grave threat, particularly in connection with missing Soviet nukes. That’s the big one. I don’t think Bush is wrong about that.
My main issue with Bush is I think he’s been derelict in the execution of his office. The incompetence would be forgiveable if he was a good guy, but he’s not. The whole republican team has spent the past 8 years villifying democrats, American-against-American, as if 50% of America was the enemy. That, above all else, is what turned me against them. The ruthless partisanship in a time of war and crisis. So I don’t have any good will left towards them.
I don’t know that I’m comfortable with the democratic party, but it’ll be a while before I vote ‘R’ again. I think ‘GDI’ fits for now, goddamn-independent. Is it possible to be an ‘extreme moderate’? I think that’s where I am right now. Apologies for the name-calling, BTW.
