ParticipantYou can deduct the interest paid from your overall income up to a certain percent. You don’t get all of the interest back, that would be silly.

ParticipantAye.
The endless square miles to expand for decades are not part of Temecula. Riverside county and zoned/used for wine country. That is not available/build-able land.
The complex on Margarita is a senior condo complex that the owners defaulted on.
The city has already begun work taking over the complex and finishing the development.
Yes, there are a lot of CR vacancies. Commercial Real Estate is in a world of hurt.
There are about 4 new openings in those empty spots in the mall (Lazy Dog Cafe, a sunglass place, yogurt place and Apple store). I don’t have any data on the rest of the leased space but it is definitely going to be unfilled for a while.
Haven’t noticed a Tijuana odor there or anywhere in town. I usually smell BBQ from Lucille’s. It is very possible you were getting a whiff of yourself.
(sorry it was too easy).

ParticipantWait, what? You like Rosa’s? Really man? Their tortilla’s are good but the rest of the food is abysmal. Go to “The Bank” or Rosa’s Cantina (the old school Rosa’s!) in old town for real Mexican. If you’re hungry, there is all you can eat Mexican off Cal Oaks. Food is decent, prices are even better.
Tacos Tijuana – best damn tacos outside of TJ. Mmmmm. http://www.tacostijuana.com/index1.htm
